Reykjavik-based textile artist and designer Emma Shannon creates work that is centered on the interaction between wearable technology and traditional craft in a fun and playful way. Her main area of current research is in the uses of E-Textiles for education and performance purposes. 

Within the framework of our ongoing project Tracks4Crafts and the Textile Center's "Christmas Hat with a Twist" knitting competition (more info coming soon), we teamed up with Emma - who is also one of the Textile Center's Fabricademy graduates  - to offer a series of free online workshops (in English) for anyone interested in e-textiles.
