On September 14, the Icelandic minister of tourism, industry and innovation, Þórdís Kolbrún Reykfjörð Gylfadóttir, came to visit the Icelandic Textile Center.

In 2021/2022, the Textile Center awards two textile artists based in the Nordic-Baltic region with a 2-month scholarship to develop and present new work in Iceland.
