In collaboration with the Center for Adult Learning in Sauðárkrókur (Farskólinn) and the regional municipalities, Textile Center staff assist distance learning students, oversee exams, and supervise the distance learning facilities in Kvennaskólinn "(Námsver" in Icelandic). Students have access to study rooms, distance learning equipment, WiFi, printers, scanners and copy machines.
The distance learning facilities, located on the ground floor of Kvennaskólinn, also feature a small kitchen, including a fridge and microwave. They are accessible for students from morning until midnight. Using the facilities is free of charge, but students are required to register with the Textile Center office (please contact katharina@textilmidstod.is)
If you are interested in taking exams in Kvennaskólinn, please consult with your school first to see whether this is possible.
