TextileLab: Workshops

As part of the upcoming Icelandic Knit Fest Knitting Competition , we invite you to join a special workshop where you'll explore the basics of electronic textiles. This two-evening workshop focuses on integrating electronics into Icelandic wool creations, such as knitted hats.

Workshop Highlights:

• Introduction to e-textiles and basic electronics
• Learn how to incorporate LED lights into your knitted projects
• Bring your own knitted hats (or other knitted items like sweaters, scarves, or gloves)
• Suitable for ages 12 to 100—an intergenerational experience!

Whether you're new to e-textiles or already have knitting experience, this workshop will teach you how to create light-up designs by integrating simple electronic circuits into your wool creations.
