VMA Visit

On May 6, we welcomed five students from the Akureyri Comprehensive College (Verkmenntaskólinn á Akureyri) in the Textile Lab. They are enrolled in the school's textile program and studying surface design  - patchwork, embroidery and machine sewing - and came to learn more about digital equipment related to textile processing.

Accompanied by their teacher, Borghildur Ína Sölvadóttir, students spent the day experimenting with the felt loom, digital embroidery machine and laser cutter.
