Threads in Blönduós

Threads is here! Threads is an Interreg NPA funded collaboration aiming to significantly reduce textile waste in the Northern Periphery and Arctic region. The three-year project will implement a range of innovative approaches across the textile lifecycle, from design to disposal! 

The kick-off meeting was held at the Textile Center in Blönduós October 29.-30., 2024. A few days later, our director Elsa Arnardóttir introduced the project at the Interreg conference ("Verkefnastefnumót Norðurslóðaáætlunarinnar") held in Laugarbakka, Northwest Iceland.
